Financial assistance for this project was provided, in part, by the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended, administered by the Office for Coastal Management under the National Coastal Management Program through a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce., Water Resources Division, and Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.
